A policy of a nonprofit health service plan:

(1) May not be denied by the insurer solely because the insured has had a
breast implantation; and

(2) On renewal, may not impose any waiting period or exclusion for a
preexisting condition limiting or excluding coverage solely because the insured has had a
breast implantation.

A policy of accident or health insurance:

(1)     May not be denied by the insurer solely because the insured has had a
breast implantation; and

(2)     On renewal, may not impose any waiting period or exclusion for a
preexisting condition limiting or excluding coverage solely because the insured has had a
breast implantation.

477NN.                                                                                       

A policy of group or blanket accident or health insurance:

(1). May not be denied by the insurer solely because the insured has had a
breast implantation; and

(2) On renewal, may not impose any waiting period or exclusion for a
preexisting condition limiting or excluding coverage solely because the insured has had a
breast implantation.                     

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Title of bill being cured failed to explicitly refer to nonprofit health
service plans and failed to refer to certain accident insurance policies also
included within the scope of the bill.
