SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That on or before June 1, 1995,
the Department of Juvenile Services and the Department of General Services together shall
issue a report that evaluates the Construction Training Pilot Program at the Charles H. Hickey,
Jr. School, and the feasibility of implementing similar programs at other juvenile residential
facilities.
SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1994. It shall remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the end of May
31, 1996, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning
State Government - Fees - Compilation of Data
FOR the purpose of requiring each unit of State government that imposes fees to
maintain and make available to the Comptroller certain data regarding the fees and
the services or functions for which the fees are imposed; requiring the Comptroller
to prepare and submit to the Governor and General Assembly a biennial report
compiling the data; requiring the Comptroller to adopt certain regulations;
specifying certain provisions to be included in the regulations to be adopted; and
generally relating to the maintenance of certain data and submission of reports
regarding fees imposed by units of State government.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND. That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(A) AS PROVIDED BY THE COMPTROLLER BY REGULATION, EACH UNIT OF
STATE GOVERNMENT THAT IMPOSES FEES OF ANY KIND SHALL MAINTAIN AND
MAKE AVAILABLE TO THE COMPTROLLER UP-TO-DATE DATA REGARDING:
(1) THE SERVICES OR FUNCTIONS FOR WHICH FEES ARE IMPOSED AND
THE ASSOCIATED LEVELS OF THE FEES; AND
