Ch. 662                                    1994 LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 11-601 through
11-606, inclusive, and the subtitle "Subtitle 6. College Preparation Intervention Program"
of Article - Education of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 6-101 through
6-107, inclusive, and the subtitle "Subtitle 1. Council on Toxic Substances" of Article -
Environment of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 12-101 through
12-109, inclusive, and the title "Title 12. Teen Employment and Community Services
(T.E.C.S.)" of Article - Natural Resources of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
repealed.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article 10 - Legal Officials

41B.

(a)     The State's Attorneys' Coordinator has the following duties and

responsibilities:

(1)     To establish and implement standard and specialized training programs
and provide materials for State's Attorneys and their professional staff;

(2)     To provide and coordinate continuing legal education programs and
services for State's Attorneys and their professional staffs including legal research,
technical assistance, technical and professional publications, compiling and. disseminating
information and advise State's Attorneys of current developments and changes in the
criminal law and the administration of criminal justice relative to the duties of their
office;

(3) With the approval of the Council, to establish and implement uniform
reporting procedures for the State's Attorneys and their professional staffs to maintain
and provide statistical data and information relative to prosecutorial functions and
standards in their office;

(4)     With the approval of the Council, to accept and expend funds, grants.
and gifts and accept services from any public or private source;

(5)     With the approval of the Council, to enter into agreements and contracts
with any public or private agencies or educational institutions; AND

(6)     To provide services and functions as the State's Attorneys' Coordination
Council directs, and in order to carry out the duties and responsibilities of his office.

(b)      [The State's Attorneys' Coordinator shall submit an annual report on the
activities of the office:

(1)     To the Governor;

(2)     To the Attorney General;
