AN ACT concerning

Mandated Reports Submitted Periodically to the General Assembly - Miscellaneous
Commissions, Councils, and Programs - Miscellaneous Repealers and Modifications

FOR the purpose of repealing or altering certain requirements related to certain
mandated reports submitted periodically to the General Assembly; repealing the
establishment of the Maryland Cultural Commission, the Statewide Nutrition Assistance
Program, the College Preparation Intervention Program, the Council on Toxic
Substances, Teen Employment and Community Services (T.E.C.S.), the Advisory
Commission on Industrialized Building and Mobile Homes, and the Rehabilitation and
Employment Advisory Commission, and their duties and functions; repealing a certain
authorization for the Department of Natural Resources to issue a Chesapeake Bay sport
fishing stamp; repealing the establishment of the Chesapeake Bay Living Resources User
Fund; repealing a certain method of proposal of areas for inclusion in the State
wildlands preservation system; requiring the Maryland Insurance Commissioner to
report by a certain date to certain persons regarding the transition of certain
persons from a limited benefits policy to a standard policy; transferring from the
Secretary of Transportation to the Secretary of the Environment the chief responsibility
for certain reports related to the federal Clean Air Act; making certain technical
changes; providing for the termination of a certain provision of this Act; providing
for certain delayed effective dates; and generally relating to certain repealers and
modifications of certain mandated reports submitted periodically to the General
Assembly, and the repeal of certain miscellaneous commissions, councils, and
programs.
