14-404.
(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 14-405 of this subtitle, the Board, on the
affirmative vote of a majority of its full authorized membership, may reprimand any
licensee, place any licensee on probation, or suspend or revoke a license if the licensee:
(34) [Fails to begin to fulfill a public service requirement within 1 year of
when the assignment is to begin that was a condition of the licensee receiving State or
federal loans or scholarships) IS IN BREACH OF A SERVICE OBLIGATION RESULTING
FROM THE APPLICANT'S OR LICENSEE'S RECEIPT OF STATE OR FEDERAL FUNDING
for the licensee's medical education.

Subject to the hearing provisions of § 15-315 of this subtitle, the Board, on the
affirmative vote of a majority of its members then serving, may reprimand any certificate
holder or suspend or revoke a certificate if the certificate holder:
(8) [Fails to begin to fulfill a public service requirement within 1 year of
when the assignment is to begin that was a condition of the applicant or certificate holder
receiving State or federal loans or scholarships] IS IN BREACH OF A SERVICE
OBLIGATION RESULTING FROM THE APPLICANT'S OR CERTIFICATE HOLDER'S
RECEIPT OF STATE OR FEDERAL FUNDING for the applicant's or certificate holder's
physician assistant education.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning
Architects, Certified Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Professional
Engineers - Boards - Duties
FOR the purpose of requiring the State Board of Architects, the State Board of Certified
Interior Designers, the State Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects, and the
State Board of Professional Engineers to keep a list of the names and mailing
addresses of all licensees, and certificate holders, and permit holders; requiring
certain individuals to designate certain mailing addresses; requiring the Boards to
distribute the list under certain circumstances; requiring the Boards to provide
certain written information to certain individuals; authorizing the Boards to jointly
publish certain newsletters; requiring the Boards to distribute to certain individuals
a copy of certain information on the effective date of this Act; and generally relating
to the duties of the State Board of Architects, the State Board of Certified Interior
