SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health - General
19-705.4.
(A) A HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION MAY NOT IMPOSE ANY TIME
LIMITATION IMPOSED BY A HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION ON THE
RECEIPT OF COVERED SERVICES PROVIDED TO A MEMBER OR SUBSCRIBER BY A
PHYSICAL THERAPIST LICENSED UNDER TITLE 13 OF THE HEALTH OCCUPATIONS
ARTICLE. MAY ONLY BE IMPOSED PER INCIDENT OR PER INJURY WITHIN A
CONTRACT PERIOD.
(B) THIS SUBSECTION MAY NOT BE CONSTRUED TO PROHIBIT A HEALTH
MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION FROM IMPOSING ANY LIMITATIONS ON THE
NUMBER OF VISITS PERMITTED FOR A MEMBER OR SUBSCRIBER.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning
State Personnel - Annual and Sick Leave Donations and State Employees' Leave Bank
FOR the purpose of authorizing a State employee to donate annual leave and sick leave
FOR the purpose of establishing the State Employees' Leave Bank; eliminating the Sick
Leave Reserve Fund; authorizing certain State employees to donate certain annual
leave, personal leave, and sick leave to another State employee under certain
circumstances and to the State Employees' Leave Bank; restricting use of donated
leave; limiting the number of hours of sick leave that may be donated and the
number of hours of donated sick leave that an employee may receive; requiring the
Secretary of Personnel to administer the State Employees' Leave Bank in a certain
manner; providing for eligibility to receive leave from the State Employees' Leave
