[(ii)] 2. by another approved adoptive family;

(IV) PLACING THE CHILD IN A COURT APPROVED PERMANENT
FOSTER HOME WITH A SPECIFIC CAREGIVER;

[(4)](V) an independent living arrangement; or

[(5)](VI) [in exceptional situations as defined by rule or regulation,]
long-term foster care.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Volunteer Service Immunities

FOR the purpose of providing civil immunity from personal liability to volunteers who
render certain services through certain charitable organizations under certain
circumstances; clarifying language relating to various civil immunities of volunteers
and certain other persons; providing that certain civil immunities are available to
certain volunteers only if certain insurance is maintained; making stylistic changes;
defining certain terms; providing for the construction and application of this Act;
and generally relating to altering various civil immunities of volunteers and certain
other persons.

Preamble

WHEREAS, The willingness of volunteers to offer their services has been
increasingly deterred by the perception that they put personal assets at risk in the event
of civil actions seeking damages arising from their activities as volunteers; and
