9-111.0.                                    

Subject to the evaluation and reestablishment provisions of the Maryland Program
Evaluation Act, the provisions of this subtitle creating the Office [of Handicapped] FOR
Individuals WITH DISABILITIES and any regulations promulgated under this subtitle are
of no effect and may not be enforced after July 1, [1994] 2004.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October June 1, 1994.

(House Bill 431)

AN ACT concerning                                                                

Alcohol-Related Driving Offenses - Modification of License Suspension - School

Attendance

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Motor Vehicle Administration to issue a restrictive
license, or to modify a driver's license suspension imposed on a licensee under the
age of 21 for driving a motor vehicle while having a certain alcohol concentration as
demonstrated by a certain test, to allow the person to drive to and from certain
schools under certain circumstances; and generally relating to the modification of
drivers' license suspensions.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

(1992 Replacement Volume and 1993 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

16-205.1.                                          

(n) (1) The Administration may modify a suspension under this section or issue
a restrictive license if:

(i) The licensee did not refuse to take a test;

(ii) The licensee has not had a license suspended under this section
during the past 5 years;
