Ch. 560                                    1994 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(5) merchandise, refreshments, or a service sold or served in connection
with entertainment at a nightclub or room in a hotel, restaurant, hall, or other place
where dancing privileges, music, or other entertainment is provided.

(C) "GAME OF ENTERTAINMENT" INCLUDES, IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY,
THE GAME OF INSTANT BINGO PERMITTED UNDER A COMMERCIAL BINGO LICENSE.

[(c)] (D) "Person" includes:

(1)     this State or a political subdivision, unit, or instrumentality of this State;

(2)     another state or a political subdivision, unit, or instrumentality of that
state; and

(3)     a unit or instrumentality of a political subdivision of this State or of
another state.

[(d)](E) "Stadium Authority" means the Maryland Stadium Authority, created
under § 13-702 of the Financial Institutions Article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994 January 1, 1995.

(House Bill 388)

AN ACT concerning

Governor's Office for Individuals with Disabilities —Continuation

FOR the purpose of continuing the Governor's Office for Individuals with Disabilities in
accordance with the Maryland Program Evaluation Act by extending to a certain
date the termination provision relating to the statutory and regulatory authority of
the Office defining a certain term; altering the composition of the Maryland
Advisory Council for Individuals with Disabilities; requiring the Maryland Advisory
Council for Individuals with Disabilities to assist local governing bodies to establish
local advisory councils for individuals with disabilities for a certain purpose; making
stylistic changes; and providing for the effective date of this Act.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - State Government

Section 9-1101, 9-1103(c), 9-1105, 9-110,7, 9-1109, and 9-1110
Annotated Code of Maryland
