1994 LAWS OF MARYLAND

A.       [pheasants,] PHEASANTS;

B.        [bobwhite] BOBWHITE quail [,];

C.       [chukar,] CHUKAR partridge[,];           

D.      TOWER RELEASED flighted mallard ducks [,]; AND

E.       [wild turkey, and grouse] TURKEY ON A REGULATED
SHOOTING GROUND THAT WAS PERMITTED TO RELEASE TURKEY BEFORE
SEPTEMBER 1, 1992; and

2. Having the written permission of the owner of the land; or
other person designated by the owner of the land, if the land is owned or leased by a
person other than the person hunting on Sundays.

(B) (3) (I) AS PART OF THE APPLICATION FOR A REGULATED SHOOTING
GROUND PERMIT, A PERSON MAY APPLY TO THE DEPARTMENT FOR
AUTHORIZATION TO ALLOW HUNTING ON SUNDAY AS PROVIDED UNDER §
10-410(A)(2)(III) OF THIS TITLE.

(II) THE DEPARTMENT SHALL ENSURE THAT ALL REQUIREMENTS
AND CONDITIONS OF APPLICABLE LAW AND REGULATIONS ARE MET AND THAT
ISSUANCE OF THE AUTHORIZATION WILL NOT HAVE AN ADVERSE IMPACT ON THE
CONSERVATION OF NATIVE GAME SPECIES OR TO THE PUBLIC INTEREST.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1994. Section 2 of this Act shall take effect July 1, 1994 and
remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the end of June 30, 1996, with no further
action required by the General Assembly, Section 2 shall be abrogated and of no further
force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Forest, Park and Wildlife Rangers - Jurisdiction

FOR the purpose of altering provisions of law specifying areas where certain law
enforcement personnel commissioned by the Department of Natural Resources may
exercise authority; and generally relating to the exercise of power by certain forest,
park, and wildlife rangers within the Department of Natural Resources.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
