AN ACT concerning

Information Technology Board - Creation

FOR the purpose of creating an Information Technology Board; establishing the
membership of the Board; establishing the powers and duties of the Board; creating
the position of Chief of Information Technology; establishing the responsibilities of
the Chief of Information Technology; defining certain terms; providing for the
construction of this Act; and generally relating to the Information Technology Board.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 3-406 and 3-407, respectively, of Article - State Finance
and Procurement of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s)
3-411 and 3-412 3-412 and 3-413, respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(B) "BOARD" MEANS THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BOARD.
