[(2)] (4) (i) The [Queen Anne's County] Board of License
Commissioners may issue a Class B beer, wine and liquor on-sale license for use in a
conference center.

[(iii)](II) The annual fee is $1,500.

[(ii)](III) To qualify for a license under this paragraph, the conference
center shall have the following facilities to accommodate at least 100 persons:

1.       A kitchen facility;

2.       A dining facility; and

3.       Overnight facilities.

(iv) The holder [is authorized to] MAY sell beer, [wine] WINE, and
liquor for on-premises consumption to persons attending an event at the conference
center.

(t) In St. Mary's County [,] the annual license fee is $650.

(u) (1) THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN SOMERSET COUNTY.

(2) [In Somerset County, the] THE annual LICENSE fee [for this license]
is $1,000 for a restaurant and for a hotel.

[(2)] (3) This license may be issued [in the County] to any bona fide hotel
or motel which:

(i) [is] IS an establishment for the accommodation of the public
providing services ordinarily found in hotels or motels [,];

(ii) [has] HAS a lobby with registration and mail desk and seating
facilities [,];

(iii) [in] IN the case of a hotel or motel in existence and operated as
such on June 1, 1967, maintains not fewer than ten rooms for occupancy by guests [,]; and

(iv) [in] IN the case of a hotel or motel not in existence and operated
as such on June 1, 1967, maintains not fewer than 20 rooms for occupancy by guests and
is operated in facilities which are assessed for State and County taxation at not less than
$45,000.

[(3)] (4) This license may be issued [in the County] to a restaurant which
meets the following requirements and conditions:

(i) [serves] SERVES full-course meals at least twice daily;

(ii) [has] HAS a regular seating capacity at tables (not including seats
at bars or counters) for 50 or more persons; AND

(iii) [has] HAS had daily average receipts from the sale of food in
excess of those for the sale of alcoholic beverages, during the 12-month period
immediately preceding the application for the license.
