SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to knowingly and willfully
make any misrepresentation or false statement as to the person's age and, by reason of
the misrepresentation or false statement, obtain any alcoholic beverages from any person
licensed to sell alcoholic beverages under the laws of this State.]

IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR A PERSON TO KNOWINGLY AND WILLFULLY MAKE A
MISREPRESENTATION OR FALSE STATEMENT AS TO THE AGE OF THAT PERSON OR
ANOTHER TO A ANY PERSON LICENSED TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR
ENGAGED IN THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
UNLAWFULLY OBTAINING, PROCURING, HAVING UNLAWFULLY FURNISHED TO A
PERSON, OR INDUCING TO UNLAWFULLY FURNISH TO A PERSON AN ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE BY SALE, GIFT, OR OTHERWISE.
