Ch. 3                                       1994 LAWS OF MARYLAND

A. Be licensed by the County to operate as a bed and breakfast
establishment; and

B. Have a maximum of 3 rooms, excluding the resident
management quarters, which the public, for. consideration, may use for sleeping
accommodations for a. specified period of time.             

3.        A holder of a 7-day special Class B (bed and breakfast)
license may sell beer, wine, and liquor to guests for consumption on the premises during
the days and hours established for a Class B on-sale restaurant beer, wine and liquor
license for Kent County under this article.

4.        The annual LICENSE fee is $350.

5.        The Board [of License Commissioners] may adopt
additional regulations consistent with this subsection.

6.        If the establishment ceases to be operated as a bed and
breakfast, the license is void.

(iii) 1. The Board [of License Commissioners] may issue a 7-day
special Class B (country inn) on-sale beer, wine and liquor license.

2.        To qualify for a license under sub-subparagraph 1 of this
paragraph, the applicant's establishment shall:

A.       Be licensed by the County to operate as a country inn;

B.       Have a maximum of 10 rooms, excluding the resident
management quarters, which the public, for consideration, may use for sleeping
accommodations for a specified period of time; and

C.       Have a kitchen facility for the guests that is separate from the
kitchen facility for the resident management quarters.                   

3.        The holder of a 7-day special Class B (country inn) license
may sell beer, wine, and liquor to guests for consumption on the premises during the days
and hours established for a Class B on-sale restaurant beer, wine and liquor license for
Kent County under this article.

4.        The annual LICENSE fee is $550.

5.        The Board [of License Commissioners] may adopt
additional regulations consistent with this subsection.

6.        If the establishment ceases to be operated as a country inn,
the license is void.

(q) (1) (I) THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

(II) 1. IN THIS SUBSECTION THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE
THE MEANINGS INDICATED.
