AN ACT concerning

Home Improvement Commission - Sunset Provision - Extension

FOR the purpose of extending the termination date for provisions of law relating to home
improvement and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

8-702.

Subject to the evaluation and reestablishment provisions of the Maryland Program
Evaluation Act, this title and all regulations adopted under this title shall terminate on
October 1, [1994] 2002 1996.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
September 30, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Kidney Disease Program - Hospital Services

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to pay the
cost incurred for approved hospital services provided in any Maryland hospital,
other than routine chronic maintenance dialysis, which a certified patient may
require as a direct result of end stage renal disease; providing a certain effective
date; and generally relating to the Kidney Disease Program.
