(d)     (1) The terms of the members who are not cabinet members, or who do not
represent the Maryland Disability Law Center or the Office on Aging, shall be 4 years
beginning July 1, 1986.

(2) Each member of the Board shall serve without compensation but shall
be entitled to reimbursement for expenses under Standard State Travel Regulations.

(e)     The Board may establish its own procedures and voting requirements.

(f)      The Departments of Health and Mental Hygiene, Human Resources, and the
Office [of Planning] ON AGING shall provide the Board with the necessary staff and
support services.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Weights and Measures Inspection - Coordination

FOR the purpose of requiring coordination in a certain manner of certain inspection
programs administered by the Department of Agriculture, the Office of the
Comptroller, and the Department of the Environment; requiring certain agencies to
make a certain report on coordinated inspections to certain standing committees of
the General Assembly by a certain date, and thereafter on request; and generally
relating to inspection program coordination.
