FOR the purpose of creating in Prince George's County a Class B-Stadium beer and light
wine license; providing for the fee, terms, conditions, and applicability of the
license; generally relating to a new Class B beer and light wine license in Prince
George's County; and making this Act an emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 53(b)(8) through (19), respectively, of Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s)
53(b)(9) through (20), respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

(r) (1) This subsection [(r)] applies only in Prince George's County.

(13) (I) THERE IS A CLASS B-STADIUM BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE.

(II)     THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE IS $2,000.

(III)    THE LICENSE IS A SPECIAL 7-DAY CLASS B-STADIUM
(BASEBALL STADIUM) LICENSE FOR ON-SALE CONSUMPTION ONLY FOR EXCLUSIVE
USE ON THE PREMISES OF A BASEBALL STADIUM OWNED OR OPERATED BY THE
MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION.
