AN ACT concerning

Board of Certified Interior Designers - Sunset Provisions - Extension

FOR the purpose of extending the termination date for provisions of law relating to
interior designers; and extending the date for the evaluation of the State Board of
Certified Interior Designers and the regulations that relate to the Board.

SECTION ' 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Business Occupations and Professions

8.5-602.

Subject to the evaluation and reestablishment provisions of the Maryland Program
Evaluation Act, this title and all regulations adopted under this title shall terminate and
be of no effect after July 1, [1997] 2004.

Article - State Government

8-403.

(g) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (e) of this section, on or before
July 1, [1996] 2003, an evaluation shall be made of the State Board of Certified Interior
Designers established under the Business Occupations and Professions Article and the
regulations that relate to the State Board of Certified Interior Designers.
