Article 7 - Carroll County

3-1.

(A)    There are [3] THREE County Commissioners for Carroll County.

(B)    Each County Commissioner is entitled to:

(1)     A salary of [$30,000.00] $31,000 $32,500 a year; and

(2)     An allowance for expenses incurred in the performance of the duties of
that office, as provided in the county budget.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III,
Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or
apply to the salary or compensation of the County Commissioners of Carroll County in
office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary
or compensation of the County Commissioners of Carroll County shall take effect at the
beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Orphans' Court Judges - Compensation

FOR the purpose of increasing the salary and a certain allowance for travel expenses for
the judges of the Orphans' Court in Carroll County; providing that this act does not
apply to the salary or compensation of the incumbent judges of the Orphans' Court
in Carroll County; and generally relating to certain compensation for Orphans'
Court judges in Carroll County.
