[(2)](3) To fund the purchase or acquisition by the Trust of historic
properties or partial interests in historic properties for use in accordance with the Trust's
authorized purposes or for resale or lease subject to appropriate preservation covenants;
and

[(3)](4) To fund the costs of restoration or rehabilitation of historic
properties owned by the Trust for use in accordance with the Trust's authorized purposes
or for resale or lease subject to appropriate preservation covenants, which may include
costs directly related to restoration or rehabilitation such as the cost of studies, surveys,
plans and specifications, and architectural, engineering, or other special services.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Allegany County - Election Judges - Compensation

FOR the purpose of increasing the minimum salaries of the judges of elections in
Allegany County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 33 - Election Code
Section 2-7(f)

Annotated Code of Maryland
(1993 Replacement Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 33 - Election Code

2-7.

(f) (1) Each board shall have power to fix the compensation of judges within
the limits of the amounts authorized for this purpose by the county commissioners, county
council or the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, as the case may be, provided that
compensation shall not be less than $20 per day for each day actually served.

(2) In Allegany County the compensation shall not be less than [$75] $100
per day for each chief judge and [$55] $80 per day for other judges for each day actually

served.
