(2) Except for the ex officio member, each elected member of the County
Board shall be paid in 12 equal monthly installments.
(b) The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners serves on the County
Board without additional compensation. However, after submitting vouchers, [he] THE
CHAIRMAN OR THE CHAIRMAN'S DESIGNEE is entitled to reimbursement for travel and
other expenses incurred as a result of meetings of the Board.

(a) All actions of the County Board shall be taken at a public meeting and a
record of the meeting and all actions shall be made public.
(b) This section does not prohibit the County Board from meeting and
deliberating in executive session, provided that any action of the Board, together with the
individual vote of each member, is contained in a public record.
(C) A NONVOTING STUDENT MEMBER MAY NOT ATTEND EXECUTIVE
SESSIONS OF THE COUNTY BOARD UNLESS INVITED BY A MAJORITY OF THE
ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE COUNTY BOARD.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, notwithstanding the
effective date of this Act, a student member may be elected during the 1993-94 school
year to serve as a nonvoting student member of the Allegany County Board of Education
during the 1994-95 school year; and the election of the student member shall be valid as
if this Act was in effect.
SECTION 3. AND BE. IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning
State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators
FOR the purpose of altering the composition of the State Board of Nursing Home
Administrators; eliminating the position of Secretary of the Board and creating the
position of executive director; specifying that the Chairman of the Board, with the
consent of the Board, appoints the executive director; specifying that the executive
director may not be a member of the Board, serves at the pleasure of the Board, and
is the executive officer of the Board; altering certain provisions relating to who may
serve in the capacity of a nursing home administrator if a licensee leaves or is
removed from a position as a nursing home administrator; altering certain
provisions relating to the waiver of education requirements; altering certain
provisions relating to continuing education requirements; altering certain penalty
