[(vi)] (VII) the Chairman of the Environmental Matters Committee;

[(vii)](VIII) the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee;

[(viii)] (IX) the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee;

[(ix)] (X)the Minority Leader; and

[(x)](XI) 1. 4 other Delegates, appointed by the Speaker and
approved by majority vote of the House; or

2. if a Delegate simultaneously serves in 2 of the positions set
forth in items (ii) through (viii), inclusive, of this paragraph, 5 other Delegates, appointed
by the Speaker and approved by majority vote of the House.

(b) (1) As far as possible, the Senators appointed by the President, under
subsection (a)(1)(ix) of this section, shall be representative of the various sections and
interests of the State.

(2) As far as possible, the Delegates appointed by the Speaker, under
subsection (a)(2)(x) of this section, shall be representative of the various sections and
interests of the State.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1994.
