AN ACT concerning

Cecil County - Board of County Commissioners - Meetings

FOR the purpose of repealing a certain requirement that the Board of County
Commissioners of Cecil County hold a public meeting one evening each week; and
substituting authorization for a weekly evening meeting for the transaction of
official business.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 25 - County Commissioners

The County Commissioners of Cecil County, in addition to regularly scheduled
weekday meetings, shall hold a public meeting one evening of each week to transact
official business.]

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, IN ADDITION TO REGULARLY SCHEDULED
WEEKDAY MEETINGS, MAY HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING ONE EVENING OF EACH WEEK
TO TRANSACT OFFICIAL BUSINESS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994.
