(3) A MOBILITY IMPAIRED INDIVIDUAL GROSSING A ROADWAY WHILE
USING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MOBILITY-ASSISTED DEVICES:

(I) A MANUAL OR MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR;               

(II) A MOTORIZED SCOOTER;                                    

(III) CRUTCHES; OR

(IV) A CANE.

27-101.

(b) Except as otherwise provided in this section, any person convicted of a
misdemeanor for the violation of any of the provisions of the Maryland Vehicle Law is
subject to a fine of not more than $500.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Nursing - Disciplinary Actions

FOR the purpose of altering the grounds upon which the State Board of Nursing may
deny a license, reprimand a licensee, place a licensee on probation, or suspend or
revoke the license of a licensee; authorizing the Board to impose a certain monetary
penalty on a licensee instead of suspending or revoking the license, reprimanding
the licensee, or placing the licensee on probation; and generally relating to altering
the grounds for taking certain disciplinary actions against applicants and licensees.
