Ch. 156                                    1994 LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ward 7, precincts 8 and 9; and

Ward 26, precincts 1 through 33 and 47 through 51.

(i) [The prohibitions of this section do not apply to Class C beer, wine, and
liquor club licenses issued in the 3rd precinct of the 3rd ward of Baltimore City or to 1
Class C beer, wine, and liquor club license issued to a yacht club in the 4th precinct of the
2nd ward of Baltimore City.

(j)] The Board of License Commissioners of Baltimore City may not issue any new
Class A (off-sale) or Class D (on- and off-sale) alcoholic beverages licenses within or
transfer any Class A (off-sale) or Class D (on- and off- sale) alcoholic beverages licenses
into the area bounded on the north by 39th "Street then following Ellerslie Avenue, then
following Chestnut Hill Avenue, on the east by Loch Raven Boulevard then following
Walpert Avenue and then following Homewood Avenue, on the south by North Avenue,
and on the west by Howard Street, then following Art Museum Drive, then following
North Charles Street.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1994.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1995.

CHAPTER 156

(Senate Bill 226)

AN ACT concerning

Creation of a State Debt - Fell's Fells Point Corner Theatre

FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $125,000
$75,000
$125,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of
Bristol Players, Inc. for the construction of a community performing arts center on
the first floor of the building at 251 S. Ann Street in Baltimore City and the
renovation of the building, subject to the requirement that the Board of Directors of
Bristol Players, Inc. provide and expend a matching fund and present by a certain
date evidence that a matching fund will be provided; requiring the Board of
Directors of Bristol Players, Inc. to grant and convey a certain easement to the
Maryland Historical Trust; and providing generally for the issuance and sale of
bonds evidencing the loan.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
