5-1010.

(c)     (1) If, under the provisions of [Title 9, Subtitle 3] § 7-901 of the
Transportation Article, the Department of Transportation acquires railroad corridor
property considered suitable for use as recreational trails, the Department may request
interim use of the property for public recreational use.                                 

DRAFTER'S NOTE:                                                                                            

Error: Erroneous cross-reference in § 5-1010(c)(l) of the Natural
Resources Article.                                                                  

Occurred: As a result of Ch. 127, Acts of 1992, which repealed former §
9-301 of the Transportation Article and enacted an identical provision as §
7-901 of the Transportation Article.

8-201.

(d)     (3) When the provisions of the State Personnel Article provide for
disciplinary or dismissal proceedings against classified service employees to be brought by
the appointing authority, the Director, is the appointing authority, unless the Secretary
determines by written directive that the Secretary is the appointing authority.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Extraneous word "the" in § 8-201(d)(3) of the Natural Resources
Article.

Occurred: Ch. 22, Acts of 1993. Correction by the Michie Company in the
1993 Cumulative Supplement of the Natural Resources Article is validated by
this Act.

8-402.

(e)     Upon completion of the plan, the Secretary shall submit the plan, with any
appropriate recommendations, to[:

(1)     The] THE governing body of every county where the affected river is
located, for their approval and recommendations [; and

(2)     The next regular session of the General Assembly for its approval].
DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Failure to repeal obsolete reporting requirement in § 8-402(e) of the
Natural Resources Article.

Occurred: As a result of Ch. 432, Acts of 1992, which repealed a similar
reporting requirement under former § 8-403(b)(2) and (4) of the Natural
Resources Article.
