WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 107 (3) The Secretary OR AN APPOINTING AUTHORITY FOR A UNIQUE CLASS (e) Each list of eligible candidates that is certified by the Secretary OR AN 12-102. (a) If an extra position is needed for 6 months or less because of pressure from (b) The request shall state: (1) the duties to be performed; and (2) the probable length of employment. (c) The Secretary may authorize the appointing authority to appoint, with or (D) A UNIT MAY APPOINT AN INDIVIDUAL TO BE A TEMPORARY EXTRA [(d)](E) The appointment of a temporary extra employee under this section: (1) may not exceed 6 months; and (2) to the extent practicable, shall be made from a list of eligible candidates. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect Approved May 2, 1994.
