(F) THE HARFORD COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC. IS EXEMPT
FROM THE PROVISIONS OF:

(1)      BANK LICENSING ACTS; AND

(2)      TITLE 11, SUBTITLES 2 AND 3 OF THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the repeal of Article 25,
Section 232 of the Annotated Code of Maryland is contingent on an audit by a certified
public accountant in the capacity of an independent auditor of the Funds of the Harford
Educational Foundation prior to their transfer to the Harford Community College
Foundation, Inc. and on the filing and recordation of the Articles of Merger between the
Boards of Directors of the Harford Educational Foundation and of the Harford
Community College Foundation, Inc.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Board of Education - Student Member

FOR the purpose of adding a nonvoting student member to the Charles County Board of
Education; specifying the requirements for student Board membership; specifying
the procedure for selecting certain students for Board membership; specifying the
length of the student member's term; authorizing the student member to express
opinions on certain matters; prohibiting the student member from participating in
certain matters; providing reimbursement to the student member for certain
expenses; making stylistic changes; and generally relating to the Charles County
Board of Education.
