AN ACT concerning

Frederick County - Board of County Commissioners - Meetings

FOR the purpose of repealing from the Public Local Laws of Frederick County specific
requirements concerning meetings of the County Commissioners, and their
availability for County business; and providing that the County Commissioners shall
determine the times and places of their meetings.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 11 - Frederick County

2-2-17.

[(a)]The board of county commissioners shall [meet three (3) days in each week at
their office in Frederick City for the transaction of general business and may hold other
meetings, either at its office or elsewhere, in or without the county, as their duties may
require.

(b) The county commissioners shall be available on a daily basis, in or without the
county, for the transaction of business of the county] DETERMINE THE TIMES AND
PLACES OF ITS MEETINGS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.
