provided. If satisfactory evidence is presented, the Board shall certify this fact and the
amount of the matching fund to the State Treasurer, and the proceeds of the loan equal
to the amount of the matching fund shall be expended for the purposes provided in this
Act. Any amount of the loan in excess of the amount of the matching fund certified by the
Board of Public Works shall be canceled and be of no further effect.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1994.

(House Bill 303)

AN ACT concerning

Washington County - Master Electricians - Licensure

FOR the purpose of altering the term of a master electrician license issued by the
Washington County Board of Examiners and Supervisors; providing that a licensee
who is on inactive status for a certain period need not take an examination if the
licensee submits certain documentation to the Board; and generally relating to the
licensure of electricians in Washington County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 8-106(a)(3) and 8-108
Article 22 - Public Local Laws of Maryland

(1991 Edition, as amended by Chapter 32 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1993)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws Of Maryland read as follows:

Article 22 - Washington County

8-106.

(a) (3) (i) The Board shall issue a license to an applicant if:

1.       The applicant passes the examination;

2.       The Board determines after review of the applicant's work
experience verification letters that the applicant has had sufficient practical experience;

3.       The applicant pays the fee; and

4.      The applicant delivers to the Board a certificate of insurance
that meets the requirements of § 8-107 of this title.
