WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 20 9-403. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, a suspension for disciplinary (2) shall begin within 2 [workdays] DAYS from the close of the employee's (i) the alleged infraction occurred; or (ii) the appointing authority learned of the alleged infraction. (b) If an employee is subject to an accident review board of the Department of (2) the suspension shall begin within 2 [workdays] DAYS from the close of 9-405. (b) If an appeal is made to the head of a principal department or other (1) [hear the appeal] HOLD A HEARING within 3 workdays after receiving 9-501. (b) This subtitle does not apply to: (1) unclassified service employees of the Injured Workers' Insurance Fund; (2) unclassified service employees of the central collection unit in the (3) UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE EMPLOYEES OF THE MARYLAND (4) the faculty or any other unclassified employee of a State institution of 10-207. (a) Within the time specified in § 10-206 of this subtitle, the grievant may initiate 10-208.
