FOR the purpose of permitting private educational institutions as a conditional use in
certain residential districts; establishing conditions for private educational

Personnel Practices

FOR the purpose of defining new terms and clarifying personnel practices and policies;
establishing that the Personnel Officer may create more than one eligibility list for
a classification based on the special recruitment needs of a position; allowing the
Personnel Officer to certify a former employee for hiring within one year of
separation from County service; deleting unnecessary language; conforming the
County's overtime policies to the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act;
establishing that employees who terminate from County service having used
unearned leave must repay those monies to the County; and providing for leave
