CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION

RESOLUTION NO. 1993-1

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF HAMPSTEAD FOR
THE PURPOSE OF DELETING SECTIONS 6-4 THROUGH 6-6 THEREOF AS CODIFIED IN
THE MUNICIPAL CHARTERS OF MARYLAND PUBLISHED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE BY DELETING THE METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTIONS
SET FORTH THEREIN, SUBJECT TO THE PROVISO THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE
OF NO FORCE AND EFFECT UNLESS AND UNTIL CHARTER RESOLUTION 1993-2 IS
ADOPTED AND TAKES EFFECT.

Carroll County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990
Replacement Edition), repealed.

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF HAMPSTEAD FOR
THE PURPOSE OF ENACTING A NEW SECTION 6-4 THERETO AS CODIFIED IN THE
MUNICIPAL CHARTERS OF MARYLAND PUBLISHED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
LEGISLATIVE REFERENCE TO PROVIDE FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE TOWN OF HAMPSTEAD.

[Section 6-4 of the Charter of the Town of Hampstead, Carroll County, as found in
the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990 Replacement Edition), added.
