STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify that at
the General Election held in the State of Maryland on November 3, 1992, an Act known
as Chapter 207 of the Acts of 1992 was submitted to the voters of the State of Maryland
under the provisions of Article XVI of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act
being as follows:

AN ACT concerning

Charter Home Rule

FOR the purpose of amending provisions of the Constitution of Maryland to increase the
time that a charter board has to prepare a charter; providing for the application of
this Act; and submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of
Maryland for their adoption or rejection.

And it is hereby certified that at said election, 759,733 vote's were cast for the
adoption of said Chapter 207 and 576,456 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Chapter 207, the said Chapter 207 of the Acts of 1992 has therefore been ratified.
