H.B. 1142 VETOES
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland 21401
Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed House Bill 1142.
This bill would comprehensively revise the provisions of current law concerning
infractions of municipal ordinances.
Senate Bill 786, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 11,
1993, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House
Bill 1142.
Sincerely,
William Donald Schaefer
Governor
