(p) (1) In Kent County any restaurant [meeting the definition of a restaurant as
set forth in § 101] QUALIFYING UNDER § 19(P)(1)(II) OF THIS ARTICLE may apply TO
THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS for a special Class B beer and light wine
license[, subject to approval of the Board].
14A.
(a) (1) A Class H beer and light wine license shall be issued by the [clerk of the
circuit court] LICENSE ISSUING AUTHORITY of the county in which the place of
business is located, and authorizes the holder to keep for sale and sell beer and light
wines at retail at any hotel or restaurant, at the place therein described, for consumption
on the premises.
(2) The annual fee for the license shall be $200, UNLESS OTHERWISE
PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION, and is payable to the [clerk,] LOCAL COLLECTING
AGENT before any license is issued, for distribution as provided IN THIS ARTICLE.
15.
(a) (1) A Class C beer and light wine license shall be issued by the [clerk of the
circuit court] LICENSE ISSUING AUTHORITY of the county in which the place of
business is located, and shall authorize the holder thereof to keep for sale and sell beer
and light wines, at retail, to bona fide members and their guests, at any club, at the place
therein described, for consumption on the premises only.
(2) The annual fee for such a license shall be thirty-five dollars ($35.00),
UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION, and shall be payable to [said clerk,]
THE LOCAL COLLECTING AGENT before any such license is issued, for distribution as
hereinafter provided.
16.
(a) (1) A Class D beer and light wine license shall be issued by the [clerk of the
circuit court] LICENSE ISSUING AUTHORITY of the county in which the place of
business is located. The license authorizes its holder to keep for sale and to sell beer and
light wines at retail, at the place described in the license, for consumption on the
premises or elsewhere. The license may not be issued for any drugstore.
(2) The annual fee for the license is $60, UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED
IN THIS SECTION, and shall be payable to the [clerk,] LOCAL COLLECTING AGENT
before any license is issued, for distribution as provided in this article.
18.
(a) (1) A Class A beer, wine and liquor license shall be issued by the [clerk of
the circuit court] LICENSE ISSUING AUTHORITY of the county in which the place of
business is located, and shall authorize the holder to keep for sale and to sell all alcoholic
beverages at retail, in any quantity, at the place therein described, and to deliver the same
in a sealed package or container which package or container may not be opened nor its
contents consumed on the premises where sold.
