S.B. 613 VETOES
House Bill 1564, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on April
26, 1993, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign
Senate Bill 613.

AN ACT concerning
Child Support Enforcement— Maryland Interagency Law Enforcement Computer System
Interfacing Child Support Warrants - Maryland Interagency Law Enforcement System
FOR the purpose of requiring that the Child Support Enforcement Administration's
central registry of records interface with Maryland State Police to receive, accept.
and incorporate civil child support warrants in the Maryland Interagency Law
Enforcement System (MILES); requiring that the Child Support Enforcement
Administration and the State Police to cooperate in the implementation of this
system with local child support enforcement offices and law enforcement agencies;
requiring that certain court order's be included in the central registry of records;
authorizing any a law enforcement agency or officer to access the MILES system
System for a certain purpose; establishing certain responsibilities of local child
support offices and law enforcement agencies; defining certain terms; providing for a
delayed effective date; and generally relating to interfacing computer systems to
enforce orders the entry of certain child support warrants in the MILES computer
system Maryland Interagency Law Enforcement System.
