S.B. 419

(d) (E) Any person who consumes any alcoholic beverages on any premises
enumerated in this section and any owner, operator, or manager of those premises or
place who knowingly permits the consumption prohibited by this section is guilty of a

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

May 27, 1993

The Honorable Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr.

President of the Senate

State House

Annapolis, Maryland 21401

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed Senate Bill 419.

This bill would alter the width limitation to 102 inches for motor homes and travel trailers
on designated highways in the State.

House Bill 396, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 11,
1993, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 419.

Sincerely,

William Donald Schaefer

Governor

Senate Bill No. 419

AN ACT concerning

FOR the purpose of altering the overall width limitation for a motor home or travel
trailer that may be driven on certain highways in the State; and generally relating to
the width of certain motor homes and travel trailers that may be driven on certain
designated highways in the State.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Transportation
Section 24-102(c)
