Funds appropriated in the Department of
Natural Resources budget to pay for
services provided by this program.
Authorization is hereby granted to use these
receipts as special funds for operating
expenses in this program.

23.05.01.02 Contingent Fund
To the Board of Public Works to be used by
the Board in its judgment (1) for
supplementing appropriations made in the
budget for Fiscal Year 1994 when the
regular appropriations are insufficient for
the operating expenses of the government
beyond those that are contemplated at the
time of the appropriation of the budget for
this fiscal year, or (2) for any other
contingencies that might arise within the
State or other governmental agencies during
the fiscal year or any other purposes
provided by law, when adequate provision
for such contingencies or purposes has not
been made in this budget.

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
$2,367,451 herein appropriated for support
of the Peabody Institute of Baltimore is
contingent upon satisfaction of the
conditions prescribed in the State Finance
and Procurement Article, Section 7-321,
(other than (5) of that section). The funds
specified in this appropriation shall be
released only as the Peabody Oversight
Committee certifies to the Board of Public
Works that such conditions have been
satisfied. It is further provided that
