1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(4) The purchase of advisory services from the General Selection Board or
the Transportation Selection Board under § 13-305 of this article shall be governed by the
Maryland Architectural and Engineering Services Act.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Department of
Economic and Employment Development shall submit an annual report to the General
Assembly, subject to § 2-1312 of the State Government Article, that summarizes the
details of its activities under this Act, including the nonproprietary details of the activities
of the private sector participants.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Office for Children, Youth, and Families

FOR the purpose of continuing the Office for Children, Youth, and Families until July 1,
200
4; establishing the Subcabinet for Children, Youth, and Families; designating the
membership of the Subcabinet; providing for the duties and responsibilities of the
Subcabinet;
repealing the Advisory Committee of the Office for Children, Youth,
and Families; declaring the intent of the General Assembly regarding the exchange
of information among c
ertain public agencies; specifying how information and
records are shared among State and local public agencies; requiring State and local
public agencies to share certain information under certain circumstances; r
equiring
the Office to d
evelop guidelines for interagency information sharing establishing
local interagency coordinating councils; establishing the responsibilities of the local
interagency coordinating councils; requiring certain State officials to implement certain
family preservation services and out-of-state placement plans; requiring the Subcabinet
to develop a certain plan and report to certain committees by a certain date; specifying
that the Subcabinet may not implement a certain system unless authorized by the
General Assembly;
making stylistic changes; and generally relating to the Office for
Children, Youth, and Families.
