SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative Departments

18-301.

(a) There is a Commission to Save the Lighthouses.

(d)     (1) Staff shall be provided by the Department of Legislative Reference and
the Maryland Historical Trust.

(2) IN ADDITION TO THE STAFF PROVIDED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF
THIS SUBSECTION, THE COMMISSION MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE STATE BUDGET AND AS APPROVED BY THE CHAIRMAN.

(e)     The Commission shall:

(1) Develop an inventory of the location and condition of lighthouses in the
State;
