RECOVER ARREARAGES OF CHILD SUPPORT: UPON A FINDING BY THE COURT THAT
THERE WAS AN ABSENCE OF SUBSTANTIAL JUSTIFICATION OF A PARTY FOR
PROSECUTING OR DEFENDING THE PROCEEDING, AND ABSENT A FINDING BY THE
COURT OF GOOD CAUSE TO THE CONTRARY, THE COURT SHALL AWARD TO THE
OTHER PARTY COSTS AND COUNSEL FEES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Commission on Complementary Medical Methods

FOR the purpose of establishing a Commission on Complementary Medical Methods;

providing for the membership of the Commission; charging the Commission with

certain duties; requiring the Commission to issue a report and make

recommendations by a certain date; providing for the termination of the

Commission; and generally relating to the Commission on Complementary Medical

Methods.

Preamble

WHEREAS, The practice of medicine has changed and continues to change with
the development of new technology and research; and

WHEREAS, Complementary medical methods often become the standard or
traditional practice pattern over time; and

WHEREAS, Individuals should have the right and freedom to choose what they
believe to be the most appropriate course of treatment for their medical conditions; now,
therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
