Ch. 5                                        1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

[(j)] (K) The [Prince George's County] Board of License Commissioners may
not issue an alcoholic beverages license for use on the premises of a motion picture
theater.

[(k)](L) The [Prince George'sr County], Board of License Commissioners may
not issue any new Class A: beer, wine[,] and liquor licenses within, or transfer any
additional Class A beer, wine[,] and liquor licenses into the boundaries of the 24th or
25th alcoholic beverages district:

(1)     The 24th alcoholic beverages district consists of Prince George's County:
(i) 'Election district 2, precincts 1, 2, and 7;

(ii)    Election district 13, precincts 1, 2, 3, and 5;                     

(iii)   Election district 17, precincts 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8;

(iv)    Election district 18, precincts 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8; and

(v)     Election district 20, precincts 4 and 8 [;].

(2)     THE 25th alcoholic beverages district consists of Prince George's
County:

(i) Election district 6, precincts 1, 3 through 7, inclusive, 10 through
12, inclusive, 15, and 16;

(ii) Election district 13, precincts 4 and 6; and

(iii) Ejection district 18, precincts 4 and 6.

60.

(a) (1) (I) Before the board of license commissioners for Baltimore City or
any county approves any license, the board shall cause a notice of [such] THE application
to be published two times in two successive weeks [,]:                                                

1.        FOR BALTIMORE CITY LICENSEE APPLICANTS - in three
newspapers of general circulation in Baltimore City[, if the applicant proposes to do
business in the City, and if the applicant proposes to do business in any of the counties,
in the].

2.        FOR COUNTY LICENSEE APPLICANTS - IN two newspapers
of general circulation in the county where two newspapers are published, and if not, then
in one newspaper having a general circulation in the county.

(II)     The notice shall specify the name of the applicant, the kind of
license [applied for] FOR WHICH APPLICATION IS MADE, the location of the place of
business proposed to be licensed, and the time and place fixed by the board for A hearing
[upon] ON the application.

(III)   The hearing [shall be not] MAY NOT BE less than seven nor more
than 30 days after the last publication.
