1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

Article - Family Law

5-324.

The court may not enter a final [adoption] decree FOR ADOPTION OR FOR
GUARDIANSHIP OF AN INDIVIDUAL until at least 15 days after the birth of the
individual [to be adopted].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

CHAPTER 470
(Senate Bill 760)

State Board of Foresters

FOR the purpose of altering certain responsibilities of the State Board of Foresters,
including requiring the State Board of Foresters to adopt regulations establishing a
code of ethics and implementing a continuing education requirement; making the
completion of certain continuing education a condition for certain license renewals
in and after a certain license term; adding certain actions to the grounds for certain
disciplinary actions by the Board; altering certain penalties; continuing the Board in
accordance with the provisions of the Maryland Program Evaluation Act by
extending to a certain date the termination provision relating to the statutory and
regulatory authority of the Board and the regulation of foresters; and generally
relating to the State Board of Foresters.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,                   

Article - Business Occupations and Professions
Section 7-206, 7-308 (c), 7-309, 7-506, and 7-602
Annotated Code of Maryland                 

(1989 Volume and 1992 Supplement)                                   

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Business Occupations and Professions

7-206.

(a) In addition to any powers set forth elsewhere, the Board may adopt:

(1)     any bylaw for the conduct of the proceedings of the Board; and

(2)     any regulation to carry out this title.
