SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1993 and be applicable to all taxable years beginning after June 30, 1994.

AN ACT concerning
Uniform System for Accessible Parking for Individuals With Disabilities
FOR the purpose of establishing a uniform system in this State for providing accessible
parking, under certain circumstances, to individuals with disabilities; establishing a
process for the issuance of a parking permit for a person with a disability, and for a
temporary parking permit for a person with a temporary disability; conforming
certain provisions of law to certain provisions of federal law; requiring the Maryland
Port Commission to adopt regulations to provide for a uniform system for accessible
parking for individuals with disabilities in conformity with certain federal laws;
requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration to adopt regulations to provide for a
uniform system for accessible parking for individuals with disabilities in conformity
with certain federal laws; specifying certain parking lot requirements to
accommodate individuals with disabilities; making stylistic changes; and generally
relating to a system for parking for individuals with disabilities.
