1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(I)      HAS BEEN in existence and operating in Dorchester County for a
period of not less than [five (5)] 5 years prior to the time of making application for [such
a] THE license; [, and having]

(II)     HAS a bona fide membership of not less than 250 persons and dues
of not less than $5 per annum per member; [, and owning or operating]

(III)   OWNS OR OPERATES a home or clubhouse principally for the use
of its members and their guests when accompanied by such members; [,] and

(IV)    IS not directly or indirectly owned or operated as a public business.

(6)     Upon payment of the license fee, any such club, veterans' or fraternal
organization may obtain such a license from the County Commissioners. [of Dorchester
County if any such]

(7)      IF THE club, veterans' or fraternal organization is located within the
corporate limits of any city or town, the County Commissioners shall pay the license fee
to the mayor and city council of [such] THAT city or town. [; otherwise] OTHERWISE,
they shall pay the [same] FEE to the treasurer of Dorchester County.

(8)     Every [such] club, veterans' or fraternal organization shall purchase all
wines and liquors sold by [them] IT from the Dorchester County Liquor Control Board
dispensaries. [ and] THE CLUB/VETERANS' OR FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION shall be
charged for such alcoholic beverages the invoice price [thereof] THAT WAS CHARGED
to the Liquor Control Board for Dorchester County, plus BOTH freight charges
[thereon,] and [plus] a sum not exceeding 20 percent of [such] aggregate invoice price
and freight charges from time to time.

[(h)](L) (1) THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION APPLY ONLY IN
FREDERICK COUNTY.

(2)     The annual LICENSE fee [for the license] is $600. [In Frederick County
after]

(3)      AFTER June 1, 1949, this license may not be issued to any club which has
not been in business or regularly operating for at least 3 years prior to applying for the
license. This does not apply to any nationally chartered and recognized bona fide
fraternal, charitable or veterans' organization.

[(2)](4) (i) [A] THERE IS A special CLASS C (WEINBERG CENTER)
license for the Weinberg Center for the Arts. IT shall be issued upon approval by the
Board of License Commissioners of Frederick County to the Weinberg Center for the
Arts, which is a nonprofit organization, whereby no individual or group of individuals
derive any personal profits from the operation of performing arts.

(ii) THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE IS $325.

(III) The license [shall be known as] IS a beer, wine and liquor license
(Class C on-sale) and shall be issued by the clerk of the court. [of Frederick County, and
authorizes its holder to] THE LICENSEE MAY keep for sale and sell all alcoholic
