(III) These restrictions which prohibit the issuance of licenses to
drugstores or premises adjoining them are not applicable to any establishment which on
July 1, 1969, holds an alcoholic beverage license and which on July 1, 1969, has a door,
archway, opening or other passageway providing direct public access to any drugstore.

(r) In Prince George's County the annual license fee is $300.

(s) In Queen Anne's County the annual LICENSE fee [for this license] is $500.

(t) This section does not apply to St. Mary's County.

(u) In Somerset County the annual LICENSE fee [for this license] is $200.

(v) This section does not apply to Talbot County.

(w) In Washington County [,] the annual license fee is $150.

(x) (1) [In] THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN Wicomico County.

(2)      [the] THE annual fee for a 6-day license is $250[, and the].

(3)     THE annual fee for a 7-day license is $350.

[(2)] (4) The days and times for sales of beer and light wine under each
license are as provided in § 105B of this article.

(y) (1) [In] THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN Worcester County[, the
annual fees for the following types of licenses are:].

[(i)] (2) THE ANNUAL 6 [Six] day [-] LICENSE FEE IS $250. [; and

(ii)] (3) THE ANNUAL 7 [Seven] day LICENSE FEE, applied
countywide, [-] IS $300.

[(2)] (4) The hours for sale are as provided in § 106(c).

[(3) In Worcester County light wine means any fermented beverage not in
excess of 22 percent of alcohol by volume.]

[(z) This section does not apply to the City of Annapolis nor to Calvert,
Dorchester, Frederick, Harford, Kent, St. Mary's, and Talbot Counties, in all of which
jurisdictions the licenses may not be issued.]

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This section is revised for clarity of language and structure. In addition, the
provisions relating to alcohol content of wine sold in Worcester County are moved to new
§ 12. Finally, the exclusionary subsection is repealed because its provisions are covered
elsewhere in the section.
