AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Casino Nights - Regulation
PG 302-93
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a casino night from being held in Prince George's County
unless certain licenses and permits are obtained; establishing certain license and
permit fees; requiring certain agencies in Prince George's County to perform
certain functions; requiring a public hearing before issuance or renewal of a license;
requiring dealers and other casino night workers to have certain permits;
establishing requirements concerning licenses and permits; requiring a license
holder to meet certain conditions; requiring that a player at a casino night be a
certain age; providing for the construction of this Act; establishing certain penalties;
establishing certain procedures relating to licensure and appeals; defining certain
terms; providing that the Sheriff of Prince George's County may perform the
administration, enforcement, and related investigation of casino nights upon
authorization of the county governing body; establishing a certain penalty; making
stylistic changes; and generally relating to the regulation of casino night gaming
events nights in Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments
258B.
(a) Any group of citizens of Prince George's County, or any company, association
or body corporate, bona fide organized [or hereafter bona fide organized] within [said
county] PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY for the promotion of the purposes of a volunteer
fire department, or of any charitable, benevolent, patriotic, fraternal, educational,
religious or civil object [or objects], and not organized for the private profit or gain of
