(I)' FOR A FIRST OFFENSE, A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $1,000, OR
IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 1 YEAR, OR BOTH; AND

(II) FOR ANY SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE, A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN
$1,000, OR IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 2 YEARS, OR BOTH.

(2)      ANY PERSON WHO IS CONVICTED OF A VIOLATION OF § 21-904(B), (D),
(E), OR (G) OR (E) OF THIS ARTICLE THAT RESULTS IN BODILY INJURY TO ANOTHER
PERSON IS SUBJECT TO A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $3,000, OR IMPRISONMENT FOR
NOT MORE THAN 3 YEARS, OR BOTH.

(3)      ANY PERSON WHO IS CONVICTED OF A VIOLATION OF § 21-904(B), (D),
(E), OR (G) OR (E) OF THIS ARTICLE THAT RESULTS IN A DEATH OF ANOTHER
PERSON IS SUBJECT TO A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $5,000, OR IMPRISONMENT FOR
NOT MORE THAN 5 YEARS, OR BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Howard County Economic Development Authority

Ho. Co. 12-93

FOR the purpose of establishing an Economic Development Authority in Howard
County; specifying the legal status, purposes, powers, and duties of the Authority;
requiring implementation of a certain economic development plan in Howard
County; creating a Board of Directors of the Authority; providing for the
membership, officers, staff, procedures, and powers of the Board; providing for the
application of certain laws and standards to the Authority; authorizing the
enactment of certain local laws; defining certain terms; making certain provisions of
this Act severable; and generally relating to the establishment of an Economic
Development Authority in Howard County.

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of Howard County

Section 26.100 through 26.110, inclusive, to be under the new title "Title 26.

Economic Development" and the new subtitle "Subtitle 1. Economic

Development Authority"
