AN ACT concerning

Residential Service Agencies - Licensure - Continuation and Community-Based Long

Term Care Services - Study

FOR the purpose of altering a certain definition; continuing the licensure program for
residential service agencies in the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene;
requiring the Health Resources Planning Commission to conduct a certain study on
community-based long term care services by a certain date and report to certain
committees; and generally relating to residential service agencies and certain
community-based long term care services. .

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

19-4A-01.

(b) "Home health care" includes any of the following services:

(1)     Audiology and speech pathology;

(2)     Dietary and nutritional services;
(3) Drug services;

(4)     Home health aide;

(5)     Laboratory;
